Thursday, December 31st, 2009 | Country with No Comments »

Yes that’s right – I have been a caravan enthusiast for some time now and we are taking the leap to go through Europe with Bertha (our deluxe caravan). We have been trying to choose from a dozen or so touring caravan sites and are slowly narrowing it down to our top three.

If you are in the same predicament, the Caravan Club (of whom I am a proud member) can give you all the information you need about your trip including outlining the best touring caravan sites, with details of those sites and planning your journey etc. So give them a go and come join me in Europe.

Having said that, the north of the country gets a little chilly in the winter and you’d be wise to bring a couple of warm things. Flips flops or thongs are comfortable, cool and versatile. If you are going trekking in the jungle you’ll need some sturdy boots.

Waterproofs – just in case you are going to be there in the wet season.

Travel adapter – if you are taking electrical items with you like a hairdryer or phone charger to Thailand they do not use the same plugs so, you will need an adapter.
